TradeChat ("we", "us", or "our") provides an AI-powered chat widget for trade businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our service at gettradechat.com.

By using TradeChat, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Account information: When you sign up, we collect your business name, trade type, and email address.

Chat data: Messages exchanged between your website visitors and the TradeChat widget, including lead information visitors voluntarily provide (name, phone, email, address, and service request).

Calendly data: If you choose to connect your Calendly account, we access your scheduled events and availability via the Calendly API to display upcoming appointments on your dashboard and provide availability information to your chatbot. We do not modify, delete, or share your Calendly data.

Usage data: Pages visited on gettradechat.com, browser type, and general traffic statistics.

Payment information: Billing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the TradeChat service
• Display your upcoming appointments on your dashboard (Calendly integration)
• Send you email notifications when your chatbot captures a new lead
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Improve and maintain the service
• Respond to support requests

We only request access to read your scheduled events and availability. We do not create, modify, or delete events on your behalf.

We do not:

• Share your Calendly data with any third parties
• Use your calendar data for advertising or marketing
• Allow humans to read your calendar data (it is only used to render your dashboard)
• Sell your calendar data

You can disconnect Calendly at any time from your dashboard. When disconnected, we delete your stored access tokens immediately.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted third-party services required to operate TradeChat:

• Stripe - payment processing
• Resend - transactional email delivery
• Anthropic - AI responses in the chat widget
• Calendly - calendar integration (only when you connect)

These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.

We protect your data using industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and restricted access to production systems. OAuth tokens are stored securely and used solely to access your Calendly data on your behalf.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, you may request deletion of your data by contacting us. Calendly OAuth tokens are deleted immediately upon disconnecting your calendar.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Disconnect Calendly at any time from your dashboard
• Revoke Calendly OAuth access at any time from your Calendly account settings

TradeChat is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on the dashboard. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
